Our Hiring Process
- Stage 1
Applied
Candidates are welcome to apply for roles or register their interest to work at Cifas.
- Stage 2
Review
We will review all resumes and applications received, shortlisting candidates who meet the basic criteria and experience needed for the role.
In situations where we receive a high volume of applicants, resumes will be shortlisted in order to identify those who meet the desired criteria.
- Stage 3
Telephone Screening Interview
We may choose to carry out a preliminary informal screening call as part of the shortlisting process. This call is designed to assess the communication skills, experience and knowledge of the candidate in relation to the role.
- Stage 4
1st Stage Interview
Shortlisted candidates are invited to a virtual competency-based interview with a hiring manager. These interviews may include behavioural, technical or situational questions in order to assess the candidate’s skills, knowledge, and organisational fit.
- Stage 5
Cifas internal checks
Before making an official offer to a candidate, we undertake an internal vetting on our National Fraud Database. Candidates must return a permission vetting form in order for this to be carried out.
We process your personal data for detection and prevention of fraudulent conduct, and checks carried out on our databases will be repeated prior to the end of probation as well as on an annual basis. An offer to a candidate will be subject to the checks being satisfactory.
- Stage 6
Role related Assessment / Exercise
Before moving to the next stage we would like to evaluate the candidates skills, and abilities with an exercise to complete.
The purpose of this assessment is to gain a deeper understanding of a candidates capabilities beyond what is listed in their CV'S.
This can also provide the candidate the opportunity to showcase their skills and demonstrate their suitability for the role.
